- November UpdatesHi everyone!
Here are a few updates. Lots happening in and around the neighborhood these days. Your Board members have been working very hard on these issues and we are beginning to see results.
EBMUD REPAIRS & PAVING
EBMUD should have all the defective water laterals repaired on Carriage and Conestoga by next week. We received word from the City Engineering Department that those streets should be paved in March/April (February maybe?)
ATT CELL TOWER
ATT was to construct their own cell tower on the hill by El Sobrante Ridge in December 2008. It is just now happening. We requested a plain cell tower in lieu of a fake pine tree, but the CCCounty Planning Dept denied the request. They are building a very tall fake tree up there and maybe just maybe, cell service for ATT customers will be better. (The other tower belongs to T-Mobile)
CASTRO RANCH DUMP SITE
The City has finally installed a fence at the Wang property along Castro Ranch to prevent trespassers from entering and dumping. Hopefully it will keep out the motorbikes as well. The City owns the easement to that property and will keep it clean. Behind that is private property. Lt. Ron Bradey of the CC Sherrif's Dept assures me that his deputies have the right to cite trespassers. (There has been some confusion around this issue). If you see someone and can get a license plate # - email Lt. Bradey. rbrad@so.cccounty.us.
Keep alert. 11 cars were set on fire along San Pablo Dam Road, May Rd & Morningside yesterday.
